Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
There are several smartphones today that exceed that figure. Most popular being a Samsung Galaxy S6. In fact, 5" with 1920x1080 screens is now the domain of cheap smartphones - you can get one for $300 outright. Pretty crazy pixel density for a 17" display though. I think we are at a point where pixel density is "good enough" for most applications. The notable exception being virtual reality, of course.
Seriously...? This is some evidence of the resolution sickness right now. Give me a call when someone sees the difference between a 17" 4K display and an 17" 8K display on normal viewing distance.
