  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I connected the video live output of my 40D to the capture card of my pc,I used the modelling lamp of my studio flashes fitted with softbox to lit the subject,edited on premiere CS3 and after effects for grading,settings exposure 1/8 aperture f1.8, hope it helps and thanks for your interest

What kind of signal does the 40D put out "live"? How many FPS? What type of connection between the camera and video card?

Looks pretty grainy/noisy- is that compression artifacts, color correction or the nature of live capturing off the camera's preview feed?

Funny and boring....because Giorgio Armani producers always work with the best video spot advertising directors or still photographers for magazines....it's just one more an advertising spam....

I had no intention to compete with the high quality spots and photography done by Giorgio Armani,simply wanted to experiment.

Hi,i did add noise on postpo,but the noisyness is due to the live capturing

simply wanted to experiment with the shallow depth of field of the sensor and share it with you people,nothing more,it's not an advertising spam as you claim:biggrin:

I have a canopus dvrex rt pro with analog in,the camera produces near 25fps pal 720*576 i presume,

Don't jump to conclusions. He is just being creative with a still camera. And I don't think he has anything to with GA. Chill.
