So we had an odd issue come up on set while recording Pro Res only on the Weapon. We were using the GIO scope to monitor exposure throughout the day since we were relying on the sun through windows. While recording we bumped into GIO scope but what ended up happening was that was recorded to the Pro Res file. So you would see the in camera look we had prior to the GIO, then you would see RLF for the duration that we had GIO scope enabled. The once GIO was disabled, it would go back to the regular look.

This seems odd that it would get baked into the Pro Res. Has anyone seen this before?

Yeah I really hope users read this and do not do it on set when shooting pro res only. Usually we are shooting raw so it wouldn't be an issue but the only fix is to apply a transform LuT to match the red gamma look in post to those frames.

YES, it does indeed do it. Yikes. That's not good. I guess the Pro Res stream must be some sort of "tap" off the monitor output, and so is effected by some of the settings that get sent upstream to the monitors.... I'm assuming their working on a way to keep this from happening.... (right guys?...)

I wonder if you de-selected tools on sdi/hdmi outputs if it would still do it

We didn't have tools enabled on the SDI feed since we were feeding that wirelessly to client and they don't want to see focus assist etc. red please fix this!!
