Hi guys,

At the upcoming IBC I'd like to take a look at several of the new gimbal stabilizing systems. It's one of those things I'd like to see and feel in person before going into any decisionmaking. I haven't kept up too well with all the latest developments, but I notice more and more systems popping up. I'm looking for information on which companies will be represented at IBC. Thanks in advance for any information and insights.

Hello Henk.
Peter will be at IBC with a prototype G1 , Epic camera, Easyrig, Kenyon 4x4, and he will be at the Swedish Pavilion as well as the Easy rig stand.
he will let you play with the G1, and guide you thru the G1E ( sensor gyrostabilized version) which will be an upgrade of the G1 buing additional parts, and all the different
possibilities you have with this system, as well as the huge camera capacity with weights up to 17kg.

here is a short video that Peter shot with a Kenyon 4x4 , and wearing the system , easyrig, and gear for the first time with out any previous experience of easyrig, or steadicam.

any questions you may have, Peter will be available to answer at IBC and show you the system.

Pm me and I will provide with additional contact info for IBC.

GI is the only system that can start from a manual gimbal free float tool, for easy rig solution, and get gradually upgraded to 1, 2 and 3 axis sensor gyrostabilised motorized version, that can also accept Kenyon 4x4 directly at the same time working TOGETHER with the sensor gyro stabilization motor control, providing additional Long lens possibilities and extra solid rock stabilization.

That is because it can accept to work with camera weights up to 17kg so you can literally add any external accessory, battery, ffocus, lens motors, and ANY camera with out size limitations , as well as Kenyon gyros in more than 2 combinations.

Its the most configurable rig that the user will not have to buy an entirely different system to upgrade and allows all those possibilities that no other gimbal can allow.

Best regards

you are very welcome Henk.
On IBC it will only be the prototype manual version and you can see it working with the 4x4 Kenyon, and full camera as well as easy rig.

The gyrostabilised sensor motorized version will hopefully be ready shortly afterwords, but all the production G1 models are already directly upgradable to the G1E as for now, and for the upgrade it will only be additional parts, and electronics,

there is a small taste of the production model and metamorphosis of G1 to G1E on the indieegogo video in 3d showing you the parts that will be needed to be added, and how this will be done. We will update with more details very soon showing more clearly the upgrade to 1,2 and 3 gyrostabilised axis with sensor and motors.

We don't not use RC cheap motors and electronics, we go with the very best motors on the market, MAXON motors swiss made, and custom electronics with many extra features that are currently don't exist in any of the competitors gimbals, making a very user friendly , in real life shooting environment , and on the fly adjustments.

thanks for your interest

Hey Henk! Very nice to meet you today :) I hope you enjoyed testing the G-1! I can tell everyone on Reduser that Henk has super sight, and spotted me in the middle of nowhere on IBC :)

:)
Likewise Peter, a pleasure to meet you too. I must say I was impressed with the stability of the system even without gimbals attached. But with gimbals it was of course even better. Most promising I think is the clever design: no cables, sturdy and functional.

Correct, I meant the gyros. I see I mixed gyros and gimbals in the thread title too. Anyway, I am seeking stable images :)

I had a small test run with gyros attached: that was nice and smooth.
It's really well thought out and quite different from all the other designs I have seen so far. I like the fact that it can hold so much weight compared to other designs.

wait until you see the easyrig spring arm, hahaha, GE1 combination, handling cameras of up to 15 kg +

I am speeding the process as fast as I can, but having a G1 platform giving you so many different choices of shooting style and control, as well as such a large choice of cameras, capacities and dimensions, that no other gimbal is capable off. There is a lot coming up from our side.

And investing in an original design gimbal, of those capabilities, and so many shooting stabilization choices, is drawing the line .

Again thanks for your comments and interest.
