Gimabl monitor mounting solutions for 7" RED TOUCH DSMC2 and compatibility issues
Hi all,
I've been using the wooden camera pogo to pogo cable and it's been not very reliable. I just bought a Lemo A Adapter and was about to buy a Lemo B adapter. When shopping for cables, I've been noticing this message from all of them :
"Compatibility with the RED 7" monitor is limited, due to recent camera firmware updates by RED. Those with older firmware (around summer 2015 and older) should be able to use this cable without issue, however newer firmware will cause intermittent issue when using this cable. We are working to resolve this in the future, but no reliable timeline can be provided at this time."
Anybody able to comment if they've found a flexible cable that works 100% of the time with the new DSMC2 7" LCD Touch? I'm thinking maybe the same issues coming from the lemo cables with the 7" monitor are the same reasons why woodens pogo to pogo cable don't work well on the 7" touch.
