Hey guys, I have like dozens of TBs of logged clips that were shot on a Red tethered to an Avid. So I am hoping for an easy way to export the titles of the clips out of Avid, since this is basically library content of evergreen reusable materials so we want a way to know what we have IE like a database, for non Avid users. We cannot get an expensive system to do this, I know of stand alone database solutions, so just looking to do a quick and dirty excel kind of a thing of all our clip names, and I can isolate it with keywords to group the stuff myself basically. The search tool in Avid is basically our database organizer within the Avid system, just trying to have some sort of database outside of the Avid is the goal basically, while costing management as little as possible. Thanks

So I figured out a partial solution by exporting Tabs...But we have like thousands of Bins so if I can export the Master Clip names on a per project basis vs a per bin basis that is even better automation for me if anyone has an idea on how to further improve on my current solution? thanks!

Anyone use CatDV for MAM for issues like the above? Any idea of costs, do we need this for every Avid seat? Just one Pro seat vs standard? Avid interplay and ISIS look cool for the streaming but seems cost prohibitive i would imagine for a small operation like here, doubt I can get it in the budget but just looking at different MAM solutions...the Tab to Excel will work, but maybe the man hours end up defeating getting a legitimate MAM solution? I am open to any and all advice here, thanks guys!
