  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'm in Ghana and I can't tell you how amusing we find these movies. Did you actually do a search for them..?

No. Would be straight to the head of my showreel if I was. ;-) I didn't do a search. A friend sent me the link. What kind of budgets do they have ? Are they financially successful ?

I'm not into making movies but do have a lot of friends who are. A lot of pre-production and planning goes into making these movies - sometimes one whole hour before they start filming. This kind of meticulous planning means some of them take two whole days to film the entire movie parts 1,2 & 3. Editing can take another 12 hours out of which 8 hours are spent on the net alone looking for music. But the animation department is the most overworked. He has to work overtime to model and render while directing at the same time. Budgets for these kind of movies are anywhere between US$5k-10K for trilogies. I guess they are successful 'coz we keep hearing of new ones everyday.

Great. Love that these films have a market. Don't always need hollywood budgets to keep people entertained.
