Getting The Base Production Pack Before My No. Comes Up

Hi!

My camera is 1500 something. Paid the deposit about a year ago, the first day of NAB (and the first day ordering was opened).

I want to get the Base Production Pack BEFORE I get the camera in April/May. I plan to do several modifications to it.

Is it possible? Can I pay now in full for the items and get them shipped to me right now, before I get the camera?

Well since they've been holding the most recent batch of cameras because of a shortage of the items in the Base Prod. Pack..... I doubt they'd ship one to somebody whose camera has not yet shipped.

I'm aware of the current situation, but it seems to be only a temporary one. I mean in 1-2 weeks when they get more units in, as they pointed out.

1-2 weeks from now, your camera would be all of 1-2 weeks away from shipping...
should be the beginning of April if the current schedule stays on course (wouldn't be suprised if 1500-1750 went out the week of March 31; or atleast the email.).

I don't think it will be 1-2 weeks until I get my camera. I think more like a month (as I believe they will start sending e-mails starting for number 1500 on April 1st)

Can somebody from RED advise? Can I pay for and get a Base Production Pack now?
