Getting a RED Epic for a school

I work at a film school that is trying to get a stage 2 Epic, because of
state requirements from the school and because of RED's payment options we
are having trouble paying for it. RED only excepts checks, money orders, and
credit cards, and the state will only pay with a purchases order. If anyone
has any suggestions or experience with this I would love to hear about it.

You might want to research how they paid for the original RED ONE. That might lay a path for doing the upgrade. Just a thought.

I think it's too late for you to get a Stage II Epic. Get the students to form a company and obtain a suitable RED ONE, then use it for a Stage III Epic, then get this company to accept a purchase order from the school. Or perhaps you could do all this yourself.

I think it's too late for you to get a Stage II Epic.

We have a RED One and it has ben "EXECUTED" for a Stage 2 order. Now we just need to find a way to pay for it, by June 1st.

Laffrey, it seems you have waited for the very last minute. Contact your RED bomb squad representative ASAP! If you don't know who that is, contact RED and they will be able to connect you. Your rep should be able to help you out and get you a PO and then you can submit that to the state.

In the meantime, since payment is due by tuesday for Stage-2, I would suggest finding someone with the ability to pay the deposit ASAP, even if on a personal credit card. Apply for your reimbursement through the school for payment on a later date. Don't let the stage-2 window slip away. I don't know if RED will grant an extension and I don't see the state paying out a PO between now and tuesday with a holiday weekend involved.
