Hi I got the hvx200 and waiting for scarlet. Now that I hope we se the scarlet out soon Im not sure what accesories thats good to still buy. I dont like to buy one and the sell it soon after.

I would like to get an V-LCD651STX-HDA from marshall but do I have any use of that when Scarlet comes around. Because I will be using the red touchscreen onboard the camera. But I have a crane and Im not sure if you could take of the red touchscreen and send the image to the touchscreen. If I have to still use cable, maby its good with an extra monitor for the crane. In case its still a good Idea to buy an monitor, is hd-sdi the best option for the scarlet or is equal with hdmi. I have the first generation hvx200 with only component output wich means V-LCD651STX-HDA with compenent+hdmi would fit good.

Let me put it this way. If I have an Scarlet and a crane and want to use the an extra monitor for the base of the cran and leaving the touchscreen onboard scarlet. Is the hdmi as good connector as the hd-sdi?
Or dont waste your money on a marshall stay put and get an extra touchscreen instead.
