getting a grey screen after render

hello....
here are the details..

footage is being brought in from FILE.....IMPORT......Files...

the File is a proxy.......

after a render of some basic color correction in FCP when I render out the image goes to a gray screen in the canvas.

I am running

OS 10.5.5

FCP 6.0.5

Red Alert 3.5.0


any help?

Have you been able to find a solution? I have the same problem with both the proxy files and the re-wraped QT files.

no solution with the proxies, seems that only thru the L&T window is it possible.

I just managed to create an Apple ProRes 1920 x 1080 sequence preset that I duplicated and then edited as 2048 x 1024 with a ProRes (HQ) compressor. That seemed to do the trick for both the proxies and the L&T wrapped QT files.

I got this from page 12 and 13 of the RED FCS Whitepaper found in the RED Final Cut Studio Installer from www.red.com/support.
