Starring/Written by: Mel Gibson.

Has anyone seen it?

Yes. A guilty big screen pleasure out here in Australia and a return by Gibson to what he does best Lethal Weapon style.

Yep. Zero expectations and really enjoyed it. One of the best "Oh wow I thought that was great" surprises I've had from a film in while. And I agree Mel at his best.
Though I still prefer mad max to Martin Briggs when it comes to vintage Mel.

I saw it in theaters here in Latvia months ago. Looked great! Didn't even realize til later it was shot on RED. Really enjoyed it...

I'm a huge Mel Gibson fan as an actor and he's even a pretty good Director. Wish society would give him a break like they did for (Charlie Sheen, Alec Baldwin, Britney Spears, David Hasselhoff, etc...) Can't wait to see this film.

Steve, I take it these were shot on the x1.3 anamorphics or did he go all the way with the 2x?

Just saw it. Was very enjoyable, thought I was in for a mess due to the very confusing trailer.

I actually don't mind the shutter. Of course it's kinda "video look" that people tend to hate, but when Gibson is in the frame I'd watch it even if it was shot on effin GoPro or something like that.

Agreed. He has a talent a lot of actors dont have. His performances always grab you.

Saw it , enjoyed it, great original location /scenario.
did a movie long ago with him called what women want , he was great , and pleasant .
and if anyone on earth can say they have never said anything awful when they were drunk .
then they are probably a liar , or don't remember when they did.

the guys great , i personally don't drink ,haven't for 10 years .. because i would fight any one of you, or ask your wife out in front of you , if i was drunk .... alcohol , make some folks crazy and or angry , shitty acting jerks . i myself being one of those people , its hard for me to throw stones. people never believe me when i say that , as I'm pretty damn mellow and agreeable when sober .

anyhow i apologize for the rant. but i just don't see how the guy can't live that down .
the guy who wrote rock n roll " hey " is a 2x convicted pedophile , on the run from the law , but 10,000 of us all stomp sing and clap to that song when the lakers score a basket . at the staples center.
i saw a" kids bop" children's rock n roll music commercial 2 years ago that had his song in the commercial ,,, with kids dancing to it ....
he isn't villified, but mel is for saying some laaaaame awful shit, that he can't possibly really believe , when he was drunk , to the arresting officer.
