  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Get Real...

It just sounds like a salesperson with a more traditional broadcaster's approach rather than someone who might be willing to explore a newer technology in their field of expertise. That being said, it's been my experience that not every camera is the solution for every shooting situation. Many can be configured for a given application, but it does not always make them the favorite of the masses.

Ultimately, it seemed more a difference in generation & adaptability than it did a slight against RED. Just my take, though...

Why would you want to use Scarlet for live studio work?

..because who doesn't want to see Charlie Sheen really "Winning"?.. my 3kcents

We are known here as a Sony House. Over the years I have bought a scary amount of gear from them that adds up to millions. When I moved to Red they were very understanding as to why I did what I did. They were even intesrested enough to want to sit down and see some footage. That is what I call a sales pro who respects their clients choices. Unfortunately there are too many snake oil salesmen who never realise the fools they are making of themselves and the company they represent. Class goes a long way.
