Hi Folks,

just want to share with you, that i will direct the Istanbul Part of
Geography of the hapless heart produced by Alexandra Billington and Linda Saetre.

Geography of the hapless heart is a 5 part Episode Film about...love

5 stories
5 international locations
5 directors

5 tales about the unpredictable journeys of the heart...

Synopsis:

There is a moment – a barely perceptible yet powerful moment - when two people are about to fall into something more – or they step away from it.

What happens in that moment? Why do some run from love yet others towards it? Why does the prospect of love consume yet terrify us? Can love transform us?

------------------------

Principle shooting of the Istanbul part will start in March 2011 and of course it will be shot on RED.

Crazy things happened to me in the last 3 years, and the journey just starts...

Hey congratulations Kaya. It sounds like a great series. Best of luck with the project.
Joe

thanks Joe,
Stephen M. Katz ASC did bring me in touch with Alexandra Billington and i really liked the script and she offered me to take over.
Kudos to Stephen of course

Kaya, I hope I'm not sounding like a prick but you'd better get the l out of halpless, as the title says hapless. Looks better when you're the director:smilewinkgrin: Anyways, congratulations!

Kaya,

I'm sure you have your people in Turkey, but if you need help, I can recommend a few of my assistants there who can make ANYTHING happen in Istanbul, so let me know :-)
