Hello everyone,
I've got a quick question about zoom lenses.
I know that for aperture, if you are wide open, the lens won't perform as well as if you closed down a couple stops. Is there a similar line of logic when it comes to the zoom function of zoom lenses?
I.E. - the wide end of zoom lenses will generally perform worse than the long end, or maybe the middle third of the zoom range will be the sharpest?
And if it totally varies lens by lens, that would be great to know too!
Thanks in advance!
