My Gemini paired with Atlas Orion Anamorphics. I rented the lenses because I hadn't received mine before the shoot. I now own a set of those lenses. This was a local commercial that would air during this year's Super Bowl. Standard OLPF, 800 ISO and 3200 ISO for one shot. I have not been able to see a difference in noise level of the the two different ISOs. Knowing we were going to be shooting in very cold weather the camera was allowed to acclimate for several hours in the cold temp then I ran a sensor calibration for both modes the day before after prep. I believe this step was crucial to achieving the good image results. Working in the very cold temps presented a lot of challenges to both crew and gear but the camera worked perfectly. I worked as the DIT on this project.

I think the lenses look really great too. We tried to not shoot wide open. They tend to look a little soft at that aperture. just stopping down a little to 2.3 or 2.8 makes a big difference in sharpness.

Great work, Don. Which of the Atlas's did you specifically all work with? A or B set? Looked great, and clever spot, too.

We used the A set the 40,65 & 100. Thanks for the kind words.
