  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi Alexander,

The GearNex has not started shipping yet but will in the next couple of weeks it will. We have sold some in the New York area already but expect more to start showing up in the next few months.

I call Gearnex today to ask this question but was only able to leave a message.

I ordered after NAB. Silverado emailed a couple months ago and inquired about my preferences (color, bowl size). Initially ordered 100mm bowl. I wish to change that to 150mm before they ship. How do I do that?

Finally, we have the news I have been waiting to announce, the GearNex geared head is starting to ship this week.

There will be a handful of GearNex units shipping this Friday. We then will be shipping approximately another 10 units next week, approximately 15 units the week after and so on.

We will be contacting the remaining GearNex owners within the next 10 days (who have not been contacted yet) for any additional options, delivery confirmations and balances owed, if any.

We are very proud of what we accomplished by creating such an excellent precision device as well as keeping the amazing price we had promised. Although we took a bath on over $100,000 of R&D and prototyping we never planned for, we think it was well worth the expense to get the GearNex just right.

We thank all the buyers who supported and believed in us, we can't wait to hear your feedback.
 
Great news Joseph. I truly look forward to our delivery. It is the last piece of the puzzle in our acquisition of production equipment. I have feeling you have done a great job.

Our first unit was delivered on Friday by Joe and is going out to Conrad Hunziker. He'll have it on display at REDucation this week.

You can now specify the trim color and the primary mounting base as well as order extra mounts, risers, and the optional but HIGHLY recommended wheeled hard case. You won't have to bounce to multiple pages to order everything--its all on one page.

Im quite honored to be Silverado's first unit, and even more thrilled to see pics of my baby!

The GearNex head will be on display at my booth at REDucation, Fedex willing, fresh out of the case in all its beauty. Feel free to stop by and play with the head - and pickup a trial CD of R3D Data Manager (maybe with a shipping windows version).

If you havent registered as an attendee, you can do so here, or at the venue on the day. Stop by, say hi, and spin some wheels!
 
I know this might be impossible, but any way to gauge delivery time, like ordered
on third day of nab, so those orders are....

Hi Paul,

We hope to have your GearNex unit assembled and sent to Silverado this week or next. Please make sure you order the custom hard case, the GearNex is a precision device and you want to protect it.
