  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GearNex geared head UPDATE

Yesterday, towards the end of NAB, I finally made it to the AJA booth, and while there was able to sample that GearNex. Now I see what Charles was talking about. The one I saw at Reduser was much better for smoothness; assuming that production units are as good as the one I saw at Reduser, I think Charles will be happy. I'll post once I get my unit . . . . can't wait!

Hi Joe: Will all of the options be available at the time of delivery of this first batch? Or will there be an additional wait time for accessories?

To make sure we can make the late May to early June ship date, we are putting all are attention to getting this done. When we are confident we have done this then we will start on accessories. So worst case, we will start those right after shipping in late May or Early June or we may find a vendor to work with in the time being.

I wish I could just blurt out what a great day it has been but you will be able to find out soon enough. Stay Tuned for more news with GearNex.

Say, who is that handsome young go-getter receiving the demo? I like the cut of his jib! :smilielol5:

GearNex geared head financing

GearNex geared head financing

Bret and I met with our engineers today with all your blogs and NAB feedback. We have made some minor and some major changes to improve the GearNex from the Beta and Alpha units which where never intended for sale.

Anyone who previously bought one of the production run units at the show price, you will thank us when you get your GearNex geared head. Some changes will catch even the professional operators off guard. Okay, I have said to much.

On another note, we spoke to some financing companies today. We hope to have something in place by next week for you potential buyers that just can't afford the GearNex even though we priced it as low as we could.

Last but not least, iLine Entertainment LLC, East Coast Productions LLC along with Silverado Studios started development on a RED 3D motion picture using a GearNex geared head. The picture is entitled Night Stalks the Mansion and is based on a true story. You may visit the website at www.NSTM.net or purchase the book at Amazon.com.

More to follow

I look forward to getting my Gearnex Geared head and Joe it was nice meeting you at the reduser party. Anyone interested in seeing this great little head, we will be renting it in NYC very soon. I am very excited about the updates.

GearNex to launch new website

Well we heard you, we here at GearNex have been working on our new website. The programmers have been hired, the gateway is being picked and financing should be offered soon. We will also have many bells & whistles and we will let you know about them in the near future. You might notice some of them being added to our existing website www.GearNex.com as we wait for the Taj Majal to be built.

GearNex & Elementa Technica?

GearNex & Elementa Technica?

Today I spoke with Element Technica about making accessories for the GearNex geared head. Stephen and Chris are sending some of their parts over so we can have them custom fitted for the GearNex. I look forward to the possibilities.

I spoke with our engineers today and it looks like we will make our shipment dates of late May to early June.

Until next time -
