  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yes Kemalettin, the Enhanced has a natural tendency to Blue do to the nano particles.

Do you want the Standard or Enhance? Put you down for the Enhance let me know if I need to change.

Done an other test as asked buddy!

do they offer a variable ND built in this fashion????
 
Does NiSi make a linear version of this Rota-CPL? I just bought 138mm linear Schneider polarizer for my Bright Tangerine Misfit matte box and while the system works well once it is all together, it would be nice to be able to pull it out more easily, and be able to use it with the clamp-on donuts.

Hey Curtis,
This two versions are currently the only ones they make, but I am sure if there was enough interest NiSi might make a 4x5.65 Rota-VND.

Scot as answered above to Curtis, currently they do not make any other versions, but with interest all it's possible a NiSi tends to listen and create what teh end user needs.
There just need to be enough interest.

Great news, we can make 1 Rotating linear polarizer in 4x5.65" for you!!!!
So when you confirm the order you remember to write it down and i will take care of you! :)

Rocky, the FB video you posted, other than the orientation, showed me what I wanted to see and that was sky more or less deep blue as you rotated. Seeing it next to the standard on the same shot would, of course, work better.

But yeah the Enhance does have a bluish coating which comes from the Nano Particles film designed by NiSi to give it that Enhanced look of more Vibrant color rendition.

Here are both Rota-CPL filters side by side where it shows NiSi's bluish tone given to the Enhance filter by the Nano Particles film to render colors more Vibrantly:
