GB needed for Raptor in Resolve. . .

Hi all. . .

I'm now a dual Komodo owner, but am thinking of adding a Raptor at some point. Is 32GB in RAM enough to effectively edit 8K Raptor footie in Resolve?

when it comes to the raptor, RAM would not be a big issue (atleast for me at 16gb ram laptop and 32gb desktop) but what I had problem with was the only 8GB of VRAM in my 2070 and 2080. I would get black screen in premiere and in resolve GPU message would pop out and I have to restart the application in both instaces. I am looking into atleast a 3080TI or 3090 if I could get my hands on one.

I decided to splurge and buy one of the new Apple Macbook Pro M1 Max laptops with 64GB of RAM. I won't normally edit on set, but it will likely prove handy down the road.
