  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Gate shadow - On OLPF1 & 2?

I think if you file a support ticket you might be able to arrange to send in the mount and have the adjustment made. I doubt they need the brain to do that fix.
I'm going to look into it tomorrow morning.

Just received my Scarlet Dragon w/ Canon Mount from Red yesterday and I pointed it at the window and got a gate shadow exactly like the first post of this thread.

Is there a resolution to this?

I've learning to live with it. Get a mattebox. It will remove most of it, and you can still shoot lens flares, if you get the light source into the frame. It's just the "outside-of-frame-lens-flare-which-lifts-blacks" that you cannot shoot with Dragon.

Anyway, that's what I think about this problems.
