Garmin Golf - Approach S3 Commercial

Here is a commercial we shoot and graded for Garmin Golf back in February.

This spot was shot at PGA National in Palm Beach as they where setting up for the Honda Classic so a lot of logistics where needed to make it look like a majestic, clean golf course.

Shot entirely on a RED-ONE MX.

Was the golf swing towards the end shot at a higher frame rate, or simply ramped in post?

Unfortunately Garmin ramped it in post. It wasn't part of the original storyboard and since we didn't have much time to shoot on the 18th hole before the first set of golfers came through, we didn't have time to shoot both regular speed and 100 fps of the same shots.

yeah ... plus if Garmin just had let us know that they where going to slow-mo that footage we would had made time for it. We did shoot 100 fps CU of him hitting the ball from the fairway .... but that didn't get used :confused5: ... although even at 100 fps a closeup of the ball getting hit flys by :smile5:
