I watch a lot of South Korean streams, i just love it ... specially the star craft scene. i have to admit, i really like the ending dance in that parking lot. Huge advantage of epic is "movement", which this video takes full advantage of.

btw this video has now reached 805,000,000 views and is the most viewed video on Youtube ever.

I wonder what his Google Ad's revenue is from that many views.

A cultural phenomenon indeed...well done PSY!

Love it. Great, positive energy. This is such a hit because its something genuinely fun and unpretentious, both musically and in terms of imagery. In a panorama of boring, "I am cool and sexy" sea of "me too" videos, this deserves all the success it has obtained until now. And the guy can Dance- professional level dancing, I mean!

Gangnam is a district in korea, the music is about the clash between the old and the modern society that happen in gangnam district.

Back to the shot on Epic part. The song and hilarious content made it a hit, but think of it this way. They wanted film quality stuff while running around like they were shooting phone video. A lot of the video looks like they just showed up to the place and started shooting. The small form factor and infinitely adaptable Epic allowed them to do that. Please chime in if you were on the set and let me know if you spent a long time lighting the iconic pelvic thrusting cowboy in the elevator scene.

dude its so catchy. i loved the mitt romney parody of it. i was boping around so hard a director asked me if i was on blow (he was kidding lol)

I like it, very funny. And thank you, you gave me the whole idea, if you have had more than 15,000,000 viewers in that period of time, I am going definitively to start to make something silly too..

OK, it's official, over one BILLION views on YouTube. RED needs to change the "35 million" comment on red.com.
