Tearing my head a bit now.
Preparing some clips that have been developed in different ways and see that ProRes files (even though I don't like them particularily) don't shift gamma the same way as DPXs do through the apple workflow.
Exporting qt movies with compressor shifts the gamma on all non ProRes clips, but the prores files seems fine, even though they look cool in the timeline.
To me this means that Apple KNOWS a solution to the gammashift issue. But ProRes isn't the end to all for all of us...
