  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Galaxy Touch 3 4k 60p Korean video, is it true?

Note 3 4k at 90mb/s setting and 24p.

Note 3 4k at 90mb/s setting and 24p.

OK, thanks to Les on another thread for mentioning a adjustment to set the Note 3 to 90mb/s and 24 fps. I eventually found the original info and concluded maybe the lgCamera Pro app (not a LG phone apo) could do the same without rooting the phone:

Anybody feel like trying lgcamera on the note 3 to see if it can do 4k 50p or 60p and how high data rate? If the phone does not support a setting it will probably default to use a standard setting, so you will need to use a player to check bitrate and frame rate values to find out what was actually recorded.

Thanks.

I don't think LgCameraPro needs a rooted phone, but you can test out what frame rates the phone can do. It works on my Motorola and its unrootable. Data rate should be the main performance dependant feature, frame rate is dependent largely on the sensor system and it's data paths, it will either support it or not (might only do 30p and 60p though). ..

The simple fact is that we don't even need a mobile to make cinema level pictures. By the end of ten years, it should be possible to do so for $10, I am already working on many of the bridging technologies.

Another thing is that I mentioned designs for SD cameras the size of grains of dirt. I however had overlooked or had forgotten (hard to remember, many years ago) a design strategy that can get cinema performance and resolution to micron sizes. I have an interest in doing my own claytronics and processing strategies.
