Dino,

This is my BIG SAS setup from Maxx Digital Entertainment.

I just returned from a 3 day RED DIT Training session I taught in Ireland. I took Mac Pro 8 Core (Rocket), Eizo 232W (awesome monitor), Maxx Digital EVO 2 8TB SAS RAID. This system rocks, not a small as the G-Tech, but ROCKS!!!

Good to have options and to hear about them, Ron at Maxx Digital does great things, obviously Love G-Tech as well and sued both for long time, look forward to hear more Dino, since I'm about to purchase a new 12 core system to set up before I take it to italy, so looking for best additional storage options as well.

I love Italy. I just returned from Ireland with my 8 core I purchased 2 weeks ago. Good thing Apple will allow you to return a unit and buy their latest if you've purchased in the last 30 days since their upgrade release.

I love Ron's Evo 2K, rock solid. I used his 16TB Evo 4k with Michael Cioni's LightIron / Bigfoot cart. Under heavy and hard shooting conditions, the Evo never failed. I'm a true believer, and I've been involved in digital capture for the past 14 years, Maxx Digital is a hearty piece of gear.

Well next time you will be in Italy chances are that I will be there, so shout out..

Ron first landed us the EVO system for Sirens of TI shoot, captured with 6 Red Ones, so tone of footage, and we were really blown out by the speed and quality of the system too, so look forward in their new gear, but sure now very curios about Dino's test with the G-Tech..

Thanks for the kind words guys. i only know how we support our gear and that is nights ,weekends and what ever it takes to support our customers. most companies are 8-5 and thats it. Best of luck to all.
