  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fusion 7 OSX - That was fast.

Roll on NAB.

Luv or hate em BM make things happen. True disrupters of the status quo & Australian ; ) .

It's just a demo -- not shipping yet, but an alpha version will be at the BMD booth at NAB. No word yet for delivery.

I suspect Nuke and the makers of similar high-end compositing programs are not happy at the downward spiral in pricing. Note that you still need considerable skill and experience to use software this complex.

I have asked for that since NAB 2006. They often were close to our booth, so a natural thing to do for me.

I got my hopes up when BMD bought it.

They certainly will deliver. I look forward to integrate it into my training material.

Nice to see this BM Fusion strategy...

Shake was nice at it's time but you don't want a compositor without GPU acceleration today ;-)

Autodesk has trashed the stunning Toxic compositor because 10 years they don't had a clue how to marked it...

After Effects is the defacto standard for motion graphics but it renders soo slow and there is no node based workflow...

Nuke - powerful, fast, node based GPU accelerated and so expensive that I don't license it if I'm not a full time comper...

so yes I like the idea of having a GPU accelerated node based compositor for free with the option to licence it at a resonable price if needed...
