  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey everyone, I have a film idea that's become the finalist in a New Zealand contest. All it takes to help fund our low budget film (to the tune of $100,000) is for you to like the idea through Facebook. That's it, the top 2 ideas from the top 12 (where Facebook votes count as 20% of the total vote) will go head to head against each other based on Scripts that need to delivered early next year, with the idea that the film will be shot and able to premiere in some form by April. Think of it like a 48HOUR film challenge on steroids.

All you need to do is go here and hit like:

Also, support any other ideas you want to see made to, you can check all the finalists out here:

That's it - if you like the idea, like it, and you've done something tangible towards the likelihood of that film being made. Pretty awesome right.

Hi everyone - further to this, we have a pitch video up for our project Number 8 Wire.

You can view it here: http://vimeo.com/32292543 and then go to this page to like the project: http://www.makemymovie.co.nz/finalist/finalist-number-8-wire/

Obviously this pitch video is, by our standards at least, a little rough and ready (we knew about it a week before it needed to be delivered, but had a huge amount of commitments from day jobs and other pitching opportunities for larger projects so it was put together on Wednesday afternoon shoot for a 10am Friday morning delivery).

Let me know what you think, and tell me if you think our team should be given $100K to shoot our feature.
