"radio station" To change the function of the A B C keys to the left of the rear status display - go to a menu that you want to access, then press and hold down one of the A or B or C keys.

"return to menu" To return to a location in the menu that you existed, press the UNDO and SYSTEM keys at the same time.

"user" The function of the user keys (below the red side record key) can be changed in SYSTEM/SETUP/PREFERENCES/KEYMAP

"burst" when in timelapse you can grab a sequence of frames at each record interval by setting STEP to the number of frames that you want to grab, and BURST to UNIQUE

Nice and simple and easy to change depending on the situation. PLease don't change this.

thanks,

and Tetris will be implemented in Build??

If they can get Doom working on an iPod it must be a cinch on the Red (output onto the Red LCD  ...a great way to while away all those boring moments on set )

"Radio Station" is a great name for this feature - just like your car stereo...keep the cheats & tips coming...

What do you mean by "grab a sequence of frames at each record interval"? Can you give an example? Thanks.

I love the quick access buttons of ABC, but it would be doable to make them function just as the User buttons do, by toggling "to Menu x" and a second toggle exits the menu.

Also, while we are on the topic, is it perhaps doable (or not) to to set User buttons to the "Ramp" function while in Varispeed mode? As compared to doing it via GPI?

That would be a nice function. Speaking of ramping, has anyone gone with getting the external remote to trigger ramps?

Is there any way to assign varispeed on and off to the user assignable ABC buttons? I am shooting a documentary and find myself jumping between 24 and 48 or 60 often. It would be great to push a button and quickly jump to 48 or 60 fps.
