Selling my full set of Zeiss Otus Duclos Cinemodded cine lenses with the Duclos Cinemodded Milvus 15mm as well. All lenses were modded by Duclos in June. All are in pristine condition. They were originally ZF mounts and modded by Duclos to be EF mounts so they have the manual aperture control. All lenses are modded to a 95mm front diameter.
28mm Otus
55mm Otus
85mm Otus
15mm Milvus

Pretty great set.
I thought the duclos mod was in 114mm fronts. Have you used your 95mm versions on Vista Vision? Will duclos swap the 95s for 114s free of charge?
Am I just completely mistaken?

Hi Jack. The Duclos fronts are now, I think, available in the 114mm fronts. They weren't a couple of months ago. These were done in June and at that time, the 95mm was all that was available. The other reason that I did not go with the 114mm even after the fact was because they do NOT have one available for the Milvus 15mm which I use to round out the set very nicely. I didn't want 3 lenses at 114mm and 1 at 95mm so I went 95mm across the board.
I don't know if Duclos will do it free of charge but really all it is is the front end cap and lens cap that would be different. Maybe being that these are so new and in mint condition they would honor a swap but I don't know.

I haven't shot on VV (unfortunately YET). However, when I was purchasing the lenses in June, I inquired about the same question. Matthew from Duclos said that everything would be fine on the lenses with the VV sensor with the exception of the 28mm he said for that, at full frame, you would need the 114mm front for no vignetting. Otherwise, i've used these on a recent major feature film on two Epic-W's and they are amazing. I used to also use them for photography work. I'm only selling now because i'm desperate for money :-(
