[HELP WANTED] Full-time lead editor position in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a lead editor with experience cutting innovative product and brand commercials that resonate with viewers.
Role will be both executional, and strategic in nature, with expectations of seeing projects through from ingest to handoff of deliverables, while also collaboratively brainstorming with the creative team on upcoming video content.

Full time position at our Toronto studio location; competitive salary and good benefits.
www.newageproducts.com is a manufacturer of premium home organization products. Huge growth in the last two years, and we need to grow our in-house creative team.

Only looking for Toronto editors who will work, full-time, from our studio location.
No freelancers or agencies please.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
• 3-5 years commercial editing experience and the ability to cut together original, interesting content in many different styles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team. No ego.
• technical know-how to improve .r3d 8k pipeline, proxy workflow, asset management, inter-department collaboration
• preference for cutting in FCPX, skilled in Adobe Suite
• experience with integrating composited shots, and incorporating After Effects exports into an edit
• all the creativity
