Sounds like there's some technical limitation inside of the 5D.

this is not a "firmware" it's a layer of instructions on top of the firmware (from what I understand).
I believe they will implement the 24fps in 5D; probably at the same time as the 7D start appearing on the shelves.

I heard that sensor is 30p native so maybe that why is not easy to implement 24p
