Wow that should make the euros sweat a little bit. Fuji after all is the largest manufacture of imaging optics in the world.

We know this already.
Thanks Evin...
I just HAVE to share! Some of us don't know three other zoom lenses in the PL series include: the 14.5-45mm T2.0, 24-180mm T2.6, and 75-400mm T2.8 - T4.0

I'm curious to see how their 14.5-45mm wide zoom compares to the Arri LWZ-1. The LWZ-1 is a really nice lens, but the Fuji will be faster (T2 vs. T2.6).

The optimo is the reigning king in that size. It's going to be a hard one to beat size wise.

Now I'm confused... I just had a post disappear from this thread. WTF?

Anyway, I was saying the LWZ-1 and the new Fuji wide would be interesting to compare because I was thinking their focal ranges were the same. But not the case, the LWZ-1 is 15.5mm on the wide end.

I don't know if the Fuji at T2 will be enough to de-throne the Optimo 15-40. A lot of factors to consider there. Size, weight, price, image quality, market perception and acceptance, etc..
