Fujinon HD 42x13.5BERD-U48 full servo zoom lens - B4 mount - full optical image stabilization
$34,990
Las Vegas, NV
Selling my Fujinon DigiPower HA42x13.5BERD-U48 full servo zoom lens and it includes the ERD-10A-D01 servo zoom demand unit and EPD-1B servo focus demand unit. Also include the lens support sled and case. Often referred to as the “Nat Geo lens” this is one of the highest focal length HD zooms that is still portable. Great for filming tigers from far away. It includes full optical image stabilization to assist with the extremely high magnification. it goes out to 570mm without the extender, and 1140mm with the built-in 2X extender.
I bought this from a buddy in 2009 and have used it about once every 3 months as our wide lens for rocket launches and other aerospace events. It has not been rented out while in our ownership. It was recently serviced by Fuji and has been used 3 times since. Retail on this lens is over $80,000.
See the lens in action here for most of the shots after launch, capsule and booster landings. These were 6 miles away form the launch pad:
