I have a Zacuto lightweight Follow Focus , Im upgrading to an Arri.

.8 pitch gear + Whip

$1150

15mm Lightweight Barely Used, Ive had it less than a month... Used on one 2 day shoot.

Doesn't have an arm to under sling the gear.

Its definately better than cavision, and RR. if you are on lightweight spaced rods then its actually not bad, If I bought the studio adapter you can use it on 15mm Studio rods

We use the Zacuto FF on 19mm and it's great - smooth and easy to use.

did zacuto ever make the adapter plate for 19 mm rods available seperatly?

The Zacuto "Studio 'Flippable' Z-Focus" (SKU: Z-FF-S) will slide onto either 19mm or 15mm rods. For $1600 it's not bad. I ended up returning it because it didn't interface with my Angenieux 17-102 zoom, which is a bit of a beast.

Also, the gear mechanism does not swing into the lens, it slides in or out. This meant that I could use it on the smart side with my Arri Standard Primes. But on the dumb side, it competed for space with my RRMicro matte box.

I'd like to add that the people at Zacuto were very accommodating.
