Up for sale is my Panasonic BT-LH80WE 7.9" LCD Monitor w/ IDX V-Lock battery plate. I also have an Anton Bauer battery plate, so if you'd like that instead of the V-Lock, or as well as, let me know!

Unlike the BT-LH80WU, the BT-LH80WE doesn't have SDI Input. However, if you need SDI Input, you can upgrade the monitor with the Panasonic BT-YA80G (BTYA80G) HD-SDI Interface board to provide HD-SDI / SDI connectivity, available from ProAV.co.uk.

I originally purchased this item from authorised Panasonic dealer, CVP, in the UK - So this is a genuine EU product, and NOT a grey import.

The LCD screen itself is in brand new condition - No scratches, blemishes, dead pixels, marks, or any other flaws. However, due to general production wear, there are a few scuffs to the powder coating on one of the corners of the monitor's metal enclosure, and a scratch to the right of the battery plate (please review the photos for more information), but nothing that a bit of TLC couldn't remedy. Otherwise, this monitor is in absolutely fantastic condition, and works as perfectly as the day I bought it!

The monitor comes with original box and instructional manual.

If we all bumped threads like this nothing new would ever be seen on this forum, except our old bumped threads. I'm not having a go at you, but maybe it's time to sell it somewhere else? tv-bay or bblist? ebay?

Robert - To be fair, I only bump my thread once every 24hrs, as per the rules, and new people are signing up all the time. I have also significantly reduced my asking price.

I've had a few questions regarding whether or not this monitor will work with a camera that has HDMI out, and whilst I haven't confirmed this personally, I have it on good authority that if you use an HDMI to RCA (YPbPr) signal converter, or in some cases (depending on the camera being used), an HDMI to RCA cable, you'll be good to go.

I had a piece of gear that I couldn't sell for a very long time, someone suggested I donate it to a school, I made out better with the tax credit than selling it.
Don't know if the UK does anything like that but well worth looking into.

I wouldn't know, off hand, what school would want such an item in the UK, but I guess anything's worth looking into at this point.

I just can't believe there is literally NO interest in this monitor - It's still one of the best that money can buy!

You say that, but I never felt the need to upgrade the monitor with the HD-SDI Interface Board - Composite gave me everything I needed.

How much lower is "significantly lower" exactly? I've already knocked off £1844.52 from the RRP, and am asking for £695, or best offer, meaning the price is up for negotiation.

Dave. It's old tech. Doesn't matter how good a monitor you think it is. I've just seen a Varicam sell for 2k. Not long ago considered cutting edge and a very expensive camera when new. You've had this monitor on reduser for a year and a half it's had something like 8000 views including your old thread. If it hasn't sold yet, then maybe there's a clue in that. If we all bumped our unsold equipment for 18 months nothing new would ever get on the forum.

Dave, I reckon eBay is your best bet now. It will sell, you might not get the numbers you want for it but it will go, the longer you hang onto it the less likely it is to sell, as monitors get lighter and better. I just bought a lovely TV logic dual sdi, waveform, false color, peaking, focus assist for 850 + vat...new.

Mr.Horwell has a point...your monitor is discontinued by Panasonic so it doesn't actually have a new price to compare.
As Job mentioned,if it had the SDI I would have propably bought it too for steadicam use...without it is just a normal SD monitor.

I only took the courage to write to you as someone who's in the market for a second hand monitor and selling some items of my own.

Hope you understand my point of view.
