  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

We sale the Lens Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 Lens.
The Front diameter is 80mm.
Have changed to PL mount and test on REDONE, Sony F3 And Alexa.
Please check the pics shot with REDONE some weeks ago.

Lens will come with original Lens box and front/back cup.

Since you know the maker of the PL conversation, do you know if the lens has been turned into Cine. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong? Does a modification need to be made to the aperture so it works smoothly?
 
Are these duclos mods or different mods, is there any way to get the mod without Pl mount?
 
Why would you want mod without pl mount? Just add on some focus gear on the lens.
This lens focus the nikon direction. I think Duclos uses Tokina made for canon to make it focus the other way.

I'd rather get the Duclos. I don't trust the quality of Chinese manufacturing just by looking at a photo.

duclos mod gives you manual aperture control with new aperture ring, as well some improved housing and stuff, these are desirable without pl mount to mount on a scarlet but have better aperture control as well as a more durable lens
 
I see! You could probably ask them to only do that.
From what I know there is Duclos, this china version and two in russia converting this type of lens right now. One of the russians comes with correct focus direction soon.

what if you get a bad lens or have problems with it? just like to ask these things...not to pit you against Duclos, but i know if i have a prloblem with my Duclos, they'll take it back right away and even pay shipping for any adjustments they need to make. Yes, it's almost half the price, but at what cost later on? Just would be good to know more about how you can handle Returns, Customs, Duties etc....lot of "other" things to take care of that not only add up in price, but time.

For my Lens, I offer 6 month warranty period from the invoice date.
It means that if the Lens has problem within this period, you can back the Lens and I service it without any fee.
Over the warranty period, I offer you the service with the cost working.
