Hey All,
Selling my complete Teradek System for wireless onset viewing, proxy recording, internet streaming and playback. This system has been used in the field and works great! My main reason for selling is because I am no longer getting many DIT and playback jobs (been shooting too much!) and I need to do some spring cleaning. I cant say enough about how great Teradek's stuff is, the system works very well and with minimal setup time you can get great dailies and playback for clients. This system does also work with Liveplay from lightiron as well!

INCLUDED In the kit is

1 Teradek Cube 120 HDSDI Encoder with ethernet port and antenna
1 Teradek Cube 320 HDSDI DECODER with ethernet port and antenna (great for small handheld directors taps as well as larger client monitors, use this as well as have the ability to do proxy recording on a laptop!)
2 cubits hotshoe adaptors
1 Cubits AC power adapter to 4 pin power lemo
1 Cubits AC power adapter to p-tap
1 Cubits p-tap to 4 pin power lemo
1 Cubits 4 pin lemo to 4 pin lemo (used to power the encoder off an MX and trigger run stop on the MX)
2 ethernet cables
1 set of power adapters for countries outside of the USA
1 manual on setting up the system

How is the quality of the proxy recording on a laptop? Could it be used for editing if you were going to finish and say upload to Youtube where quality didn't matter but super fast turn around did?

Also, with the proxy recording is there any reference back to the R3D files or any link to the RED metadata? Could you say, use the proxy recordings for editing and then link back to the RED files for offline?

I have successfully done both. I would say that it is not optimal quality for youtube upload its strictly for offline, playback and viewing purposes only. Remember this is not only a kit for proxy recording but a full HD wireless video system for under 4 grand. Most systems are in the 10-15K range.

The cube along with the record start stop sends the same file name as the .r3d being recorded in camera. With a little work you will be able to re-link to original RAW footage
