Hmmm was it really the Techno used on Superman? I thought it was the 'special' Cooke 10-1, made by Cooke, the one they called the 'Super Cine Varotal'?

I thought Superman was Anamorphic 35mm? Maybe the zooms were used for the VFX (rear projection) shots - or for particular shots in the movie itself. I haven't seen the movie in a long time, but I definitely remember ovular bokeh, which wouldn't come from a zoom like this or the Cooke (even with a rear element added).
