This Red Rock Micro Swing-Away Matte Box is the special RED One bundle version. It comes with the combination 19mm/15mm offset mounting arm (does not include 15mm lightweight mount), 2 rotating filter stages that take either 4"x4" or 4"x5.65" filters, top flag, side flags, 4 neoprene donuts for different size lenses, swing-away bracket, extra mounting screws and hardware. It also includes the custom cutout Pelican case that Red Rock makes specifically for this matte box bundle.

The original cost of this matte box bundle with Pelican case was $1,475.00. It has barely been used and is in perfect condition. I am selling this matte box because we use primarily Nikkor still lenses on our R1MX and are changing to a lighter, non-swingaway matte box. No filters are included.

$800 or best offer. North American sales only. Payment via PayPal only. Buyer pays all shipping and insurance charges.

New Lower price on this pristine matte box. Perfect for RED One or Epic/Scarlet with 19mm or 15mm studio (offset) rod systems.

Realistic offers welcome...$500 for this package is not particularly realistic IMHO...

Matte Box specs, Does it fit the 18-85?

Sorry, Pat, somehow I missed seeing your question. If the matte box is placed very carefully at the extreme end of the 18-85 (it barely clears the diameter of the 18-85, so no donut is required or even possible), it has a very tiny vignette at 18mm...by 20mm or so, it is completely clear.

Lowered price...

Tom does this fit a sony f3 or sony f5? and if so, can i just attach any follow focus to it? (i'm awful with matte boxes, but now i feel like i need a rig)

Adrian, it should work fine with either an F3 or F5 assuming that they are configured using either 19mm or 15mm Studio (offset) rods. If they are using a 15mm Lightweight rod configuration, then you would need to add the 15mm LW support arm...this piece: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._2_038_0010_Lightweight_Support_Arm_15mm.html

Your follow focus will attach to the same rods the matte box attaches to, but won't attach directly to the matte box itself.

Hey Tom, looks like a nice setup, but probably a bit much for my current needs. On set, how long would you say it takes to set this up? I've got a R1MX with a set of Rokinon Cine lenses, and all I really need is a way to put filters in front of them. Usually just me and another guy on set so I'm hoping to keep it as simple as possible.

It only takes about 5 minutes to set up, Matt....slides right on your 19mm rods. And it's a swingaway that uses neoprene rubber donuts, so changing lenses once it's on is super quick and easy.

This matte box is no longer available. I've decided to keep it for now.
