I had originally posted selling both of my RED ONE's to help pay for a bunch of new gear and location we are opening, but after having a few rentals even after the Epic and Scarlet were available I feel I should at least hang on to at least one. They have both made me 4 times what they cost and continue to make me money so getting rid of both doesn't seem like good sense. I plan to sell my M sensor RED ONE and this is my reasoning behind it:
When buying a used RED ONE you get a camera with no warranty. Which is why I'd urge buyers to get a M sensor RED and upgrade them theirselves. Not only will you get a camera at a cheap price that's ready to shoot but when you upgrade to the MX sensor you get a one yer warranty on the most expensive component of the camera. I think someone in the position of spending good money on a camera would like that piece of mind.
I'm not thrilled about selling either one of my ONE's which is why I'm only going to sell one if I can make a quick sale. If not I'll just upgrade it and keep it for our rental stock. I shoot enough concerts that it will come in handy. In the interest of making a quick sale I will reduce the price to an even $10,000 USD. This is a bit of a steal but I need lenses more than I do extra cameras right now. My loss, your gain.
