  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FS: RED EVF

Not all of them Cristian.

Certain serial numbers/ versions do not work on Epic.

Some EVFs have different internal boards and it's hit and miss if they work with epic.

You got lucky.

I bought this from another Reduser a couple months ago. I asked him to test it on Epic and he did a few minutes later. He must have had the lens pointed at a wall because the picture he sent didn't show any objects but I could clearly see the menus. But I tried it on my Epics and it only works, kind of. I get that weird solarization. With the Bomb you can only see the top menu or the bottom menu, not both at the same time. With this original EVF you can see both menus at the same time but the text is a bit jagged. I tried the usual thing I used to do when I got the solarization on the Red One -- Just unplug the cable and plug it back in -- But it didn't fix the problem. Maybe it was the cable or maybe the cold. Could just be the EVF.

I think there needs to be some firmware tweaks before I can say that it is compatible with Epic.

Should be fine on Red One though but I don't have one to test. If it doesn't work on the Red One you can have your money back.
 
That's a great price. Almost the same as I paid recently to have mine repaired due to a faulty panel.
 
I bought it along with the ET EVF Mount for $1830 including shipping. I am just looking to get back what I paid.

I have someone interested in the ET Mount for $800 and I'm including the $60 Bomb adapter. So I just need $1090 more for this EVF.
