FS: Red DSMC QUICK RELEASE PLATFORM PACK (ALMOST NEW)

[axel ebermann]

Like new. Used only two days for testing. Figured it is not ideal for
my camera configuration.

Managed to loose on of the wing nuts on the first day (me=genius).
You can easily buy those at Red.

This item is backordered on Red.

Price is $1100 (vs. 1350 with Epic mounting plate new) including shipping in the US.

Because somebody asked why I am selling it:

there is nothing bad about the Red Quick Release system itself. It is actually quite nice and well engineered.

I have a viewfactor cage with 15mm lightweight rods and I am obsessed with keeping my rig as light as possible, because
I do a lot of handheld work and travel a lot.
I discovered that I do not really need the Red quick release base, because it works for me to just put the cage with
the camera directly on the plate of my Sachtler tripod.
