  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi Arben,

Can you send me a pic of the cheese plate? I'm having trouble figuring out the best way to mount my Red to my 1030 O'Connor head (old version) securely. I know Red recommends the cheese plate for more secure mounting as opposed to the shoulder dovetail but I'm wondering if the cheese plate fits directly to the bottom of the Red (with the Red bottom plate on it - cause that's how I mount my 19mm rods). I also have the element technica sliding baseplate but it doesn't have a locking system. I believe my shoulder dovetail is damaged as well.
