**** SOLD ****

Considering selling my set of 5 Canon K35 superspeed prime cinema lenses in BNCR mount. Several places offer PL conversion if you wanted to do that, although it's not necessary these days since plenty BNCR mounts available for EPIC/Scarlet/Alexa.

Focal lengths include: 18mm T1.5 / 24mm T1.5 / 35mm T1.4 / 55mm T1.4 / 85mm T1.4

As many of you know, these lenses have incredibly beautiful bokeh due to 14-blade iris, are sharper than Zeiss/Arri super-speeds wide open, are very light weight, have great flare, and best of all cover 6K format. Personally, and this is my honest opinion, these are some of the best glass ever made. Those that have used them know what I'm talking about.

Glass is pristine, cosmetics are excellent, gears are smooth, recently serviced at Clairmont Camera of Hollywood.
Will put up pics later (too lazy right now :)

Send offers to yousuf [at] mindcraftstudios [dot] com

THANKS.

P.S. In case you want to know why I'm selling, I've been collecting way too much glass lately and realized it may be time to sell some stuff and free up cash, BUT only at the right price. ;-)

You are a mad man. :yesnod:

These lenses will skyrocket in value once Dragon comes out. Similar to the 'lomo' effect.

Haha, you're probably right about both things, their value will rise, and I am mad ;-)
But that is why I am only "considering" selling - if the offer is right, I will sell these babies.

A good condition K35 set are hard to come buy. Do you have any photos of this set?

Yousuf,

You are quite the sales man, sounds like a good set.

Some photos...
Shown with their screw-on lens hoods, which makes them mattebox friendly.

*Note: The pelican cut-out case is included. You'll notice a 6th lens in the case, which is actually a re-housed Canon FD 14mm T2.8 BNCR -- cuts well with the set and is also for sale seperately.

probably the most detailed pics I've seen for a REDUSER sale. Most people don't show you through the Iris.

Do you have any links to projects shot on this set?

Submarine (2011) is a recent example of K35's used on a feature film. Love the look. Was filmed using a mix of K35's and Kowas.

Notice around mark 1:12-1:19 the K35's signature bokeh in low light.

this movie was great.

I never realised that you can screw lens hood on the lens like that. Did you modify the lens to be able to attach the lens? ( from the photos it seems to be unmodified lens ).

Nothing was modified. K35s have 77mm filter threads, on which you can screw on filters and/or hoods. This actually makes for a nice lightweight rig sometimes when you want to use screw filters rather than mattebox.

That's because most people don't have lenses with 14 blades(!).

Nice set; good luck with the sale
