FS: PL mount 8mm Peleng Fisheye Lens - $350

[paul engstrom]

THIS LENS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE - IT HAS BEEN SOLD

Crazy wide lens! 180 degrees FOV. Watch your toes!

Essentially new lens; hardly used. PL mounted version. Comes with four filters (that screw onto the back of the lens), lens caps and pretty cool pouch.

$350.

Regards,

Paul

Paul,
do you know if it covers full frame or just S35?

[paul engstrom]

Hi Johnny,

I would doubt that it covers a full frame (still camera) as these super wide fisheye lenses seldom do.
It covers the original RED (S35) and I suspect it covers the slightly wider Epic (but I do not know this for a fact).

If I find out more about that I will post the info. here.

Regards,
P

It does cover full 36mm still frame width...it is a great lens.

Doug's Website (Long Valley Equipment) has the best film-oriented information on this lens that I know of.
I'm pasting a link here -- hopefully that will help you.

I should clarify by the way, that the lens I am selling was not purchased from Doug (he used stainless steel PL mount; mine is black metal PL mount).
Pictures to follow.
