I recently traded in my Epic Dragon in for a Woven (carbon fiber) Weapon and purchased a bunch of add-ons for it. It has barely been used and it is in 100% perfect condition and still under almost a year warranty. I'm now thinking that a new Scarlet or Raven would better fit my needs and so I'm looking to sell this amazing camera package. I will pay for it to be fully checked out by RED so that you will have no worries about the condition. The main reason to buy this Weapon (for $75K) versus another used or new weapon is that it is #25 on REDs waitlist for the new 8K VistaVision chip that I have already paid for. That means you will get the new chip in the first batch that goes out to non ($200Million Studio Movies). If you are in the right location you could probably make killing on having the first Weapon with the new giant chip in your area for rent. Also, this is still cheaper than buying a new camera (no taxes at all) and it is in perfect condition.
It includes:
BRAND NEW RED Woven Carbon Fiber WEAPON with custom Pelican Case!
Prepaid 8K vistavision sensor upgrade that is right up there at the top of the list. Based on word from Guardians of the Galaxy and other 8K chip productions this new chip really rivals the Arri 65mm camera, which is awesome! Go RED!
Shoots 6K and everything below and simultaneously can shoot 4K or 2K ProRes in any flavor so that you can get your editor started pronto
1 mini-SSD reader
1 DSMC2 Sidekick
1 DSMC2 Base Expander
1 new, large 7" RED LCD Screen. It attaches to the camera with no wires and it has much higher resolution and looks much better than any previous RED screens.
1 New RED lightweight aluminum PL-mount, just calibrated for this specific camera at RED studios
1 Titanium PL-mount Motion Mount with rolling shutter correction and built-in Variable ND
1 AC/DC adapter
Red Carbon Fiber Matte Box with custom Pelican Case and a full set of filters
I am looking for fair offers for someone who is looking to buy a RED Weapon and who would like to save a little money and most importantly jump to the front of the long line for the new vistavision 8k sensor.
Let me know if you have any questions.
