A must-have for any serious cinematographer. This Moy Mini from Ernest F. Moy co. (One of the most famous equipment manufacturers ever, responsible for the Moy/“mitchell” mount standard, and known for their reliable tripod heads) is in great condition and has served me well.
Unfortunately recent emergencies have forced me to sell my most favorite piece of gear which has served me well. Handles any modern camera no problem.
Comes with:
-head
-2 wheels (has the ability to put a third wheel on)
-hard case
-castle nut
-quick release base for manfrotto
-Arri dovetail base
Very rare to find a used geared head for the price I’m asking, especially one from a working environment like mine. This is one of the last heads they made so it’s relatively modern compared to other Worral and Moy heads on eBay. I’m the second owner. It’s been kept clean and maintained as well as it can be for something of that era. This was used for an animation rig before I owned it so it’s much less worn than others and the wheels are pristine since they weren’t used during animation and motors were mounted instead. I have sample footage shot with the head if you want to see it.
