  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FS: Miller Sprinter II Carbon Fiber Tripod legs w/ 100mm Bowl

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS PERSON! I am not a Red owner. I am at dvxuser.com as twincitiesshooter, and I joined this forum just to buy this tripod. I contacted Yousuf, gave him my contact info including my website, email and cell phone, and offered full price with a few conditions (Paypal payment, 24-hour right of return) that he readily agreed to. Everything was settled via email. I then sent full Paypal payment, and he replied with a confirmation that he received it, a thank you, and said he would ship in the morning. AFTERWARD we chatted about another tripod he was considering buying, and I pointed out some flaws in it he hadn't realized. Suddenly at 1:45am he sends an email saying he has to go out of town and wouldn't be able to ship to me for a few days, so he's refunding payment. I replied that he can ship it when he gets back. He then changes his story and says he doesn't want to deal with the trouble of shipping, only do local pick-up. This was bs - he'd already agreed to the deal and received full payment! So now I had to buy a different tripod and pay more for shipping since he had wasted a day. When I asked if he was going to reimburse me that cost, he got rude and angry.

This clearly seemed to be seller's remorse and I told him to just be honest about it. What is really irritating is that he refuses to do so, takes no responsibility for breaking a done deal and costing me extra shipping money, and he comes up with all kinds of excuses for breaking deals - a total of seven now that he has given me, none of which were a problem when he made the deal and received my money. Bottom line, don't trust this guy.

You want immediate shipment and me to pay for it.
You want guaranteed delivery.
You want me to cover Paypal fees.
You want 24-hour return policy,
You give me attitude over email.

It's my choice to not sell to you dude. Get over it.

I have a history on forums 2.5 years longer than yours as a senior member of dvxuser.com - http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?22561-TwinCitiesShooter - and gave you ample evidence of who I am
You agreed to immediate shipment and paying for it, just as I agreed to pay full price
"Guaranteed delivery" - I asked you send it signature required, which you agreed to
I partially paid the Paypal fees, as agreed
You agreed to the 24-hour return policy
"Attitude"? You agreed to everything, I then paid, and you then broke this agreement with changing excuses, at which point I called you dishonest

It is your choice to break a done, paid-for deal, lie to the other party and cost him money for time wasted. It's always your choice to have integrity or not. And now it is the choice of other people if they want to enter into a transaction with you. That's all.
 
Kevin- I issued you a full refund within a few hours after you paid when I realized I did not want to do business with you. Sorry if you are upset about that, but I am not interested in selling to you.
 
Yousuf, I already bought another tripod and you know that. Don't insult me by making it sound like there's something wrong with me as a buyer. The money was paid and you had absolutely no risk, and I would even pay shipping both ways if I returned it (my suggestion). Your excuses were that you couldn't ship for a few days, then you claimed you don't want to ship at all and only do pick-ups, then you wrote a whole list of things that are supposedly wrong with me specifically, which I showed were all baseless. If you're changing excuses, obviously some or all are lies.

This thread is past usefulness, we've said our pieces and are getting repetitive. Let's end this. One man to another, all animosity aside, in the future just be scrupulously honest with people, stand by your agreements, and don't make excuses, it's insulting.
 
Sorry nothing personal Kevin, but I made a judgement desicion to not sell to you. Im not insulting you as a person, I'm sure everyone loves you, but i don't know you and did not want to continue the sale.

Of course your story changes by the hour. Have you heard the phrase "You're full of it?" Here's the deal and it couldn't be simpler - stop lying, and I'll stop posting. In fact, please stop lying so I can please stop posting.
 
Please accept the fact that I do not want to do business with you, and will never want to. The option I gave you to do the sale locally is also off the table (obviously). I've wasted enough time on this..

 
Do you seriously think I still want to do business with you? I said in my first post I've already bought another tripod this morning. Everything I've written has been to point out your lies so others can avoid you!
 
Sorry to interrupt this amicable exchange with a straight question to the seller: Can you deliver to Los Angeles this week?
