must say thats a pretty good deal with the software thrown in.

i bought the exact same configuration in april of 2009 for about 2900 so really the software is the main deal.

Have to echo Joseph's question. Is the software just installed, or are you actually including legit software licenses with media? I'm sure that's a pointlessly stupid question, because that's $3K worth of software and you simply say "installed". So as long as the software is just installed for convenience and not activated, I guess that's cool and, uh, pointless. If they're active, then hey, whatever... Not exactly legal, but I'm sure you know what you're doing. ...Hope you're not selling a system with active copies of software that are still tied to your own serial numbers, that can really f**k with you down the road.

Not trying to come across as mean, just sayin it like it is...

Both Final Cut Studio and Adobe CS4 were provided to me by my employer under a Volume License.. I don't have discs, but the IT dept. installed them for me after I re-formatted my computer. So, I figured I'd leave them installed and it's not really illegal since they're both volume licenses. I will provide the Office 2008 CD with the computer. Pics to come soon...

Here are some pics... And I would really appreciate it if posts were limited to interested buyers.. I don't understand why people post their opinions in these threads when they have no bearing on the items for sale.

Technically the employer owns the licenses, it's against the license agreement for them to place them on a system that is not owned or managed by them, but it happens all the time. They can't be upgraded, at least not on the user end without the license material. So yeah, not worth a whole lot. Anyway, I was mostly just looking for clarification.

Not a bad deal on a system like this. I bought a similar one a couple months ago and paid $3500 for just the MBP itself.

Bump... Who can give this MacBook Pro a new home? Well mannered, house-trained and will never let you down!

Price Reduction... $3000obo... Please spread the word.. It's a fantastic laptop and should go to someone who could really utilize it's power.

bump... All accessories still available as well.. Also have a Hoodman RAW FW800 CF Reader for sale! Will consider offers or trades for certain items..
